RealLock removes that exit. The apps are blocked using Apple’s real Screen Time API, and the only way back in is scanning the barcode of a physical object you chose in advance. RealLock uses your camera only to read the barcode of the object you chose as your unlock key. Frames are processed in the moment and are never stored or sent anywhere — only a one-way hash of the barcode is kept, on your device.

Android doesn't have Apple's Screen Time API, so it gets a lighter "soft mode" (an overlay reminder) instead of full system-level blocking. Full blocking is an iOS feature.
