If something isn't working, or you have a question, write to us. A real person reads every email, and we usually reply within a day or two. Reports about other users are reviewed within 24 hours.
Email support@trypocketleaf.comContact us
Email support@trypocketleaf.com, or in the App: Settings → Contact support. Telling us your app version (Settings → About) and your iPhone model helps. You never need to send us your answers to get help.
If you need someone right now
Stonemind is not a crisis service, and email is not fast. If you are thinking about harming yourself or feel unsafe, call your local emergency number, or find a free helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. In the US and Canada, call or text 988.
Restore a purchase
Open Stonemind, go to Settings (the gear on the You tab) → Data & iCloud, and tap Restore purchases. You can also tap Restore on the Premium screen. The purchase must belong to the same Apple ID you bought it with. Premium and packs are restored; extra AI questions are consumable and are not restored, because your balance is already kept on our server.
Cancel the free trial or a subscription
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Stonemind → Cancel. In the App: Settings → Your plan → Manage or cancel in the App Store. To avoid being charged, cancel a free trial at least 24 hours before it ends. You keep Premium until the end of the trial or the period you paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Move to a new iPhone, or reinstall
If you are signed in to iCloud, Stonemind keeps a private copy of your journal in your iCloud automatically. Install the App on the new iPhone with the same Apple ID, and it will offer to restore it ("Found in your iCloud"). You can see the status in Settings → Data & iCloud. If iCloud is off, use Back up to Files on the old phone, save the file somewhere safe, then Restore from a backup on the new one.
Delete your data
Settings → Data & iCloud → Erase all my data → Erase forever. This erases your journal from your phone, deletes the iCloud copy, and deletes your anonymous account and everything tied to it on our server — positions, duels, Agora arguments, club posts and debates. It can't be undone. Uninstalling the App alone does not delete the iCloud copy or your data on our server.
Report or block someone
Tap ⋯ on an argument, duel, debate or club member and choose Report or Block. Reports are anonymous, and a person reviews each one within 24 hours. Blocking works immediately: you stop seeing each other's posts, duels and debates, and they aren't told. Manage blocked people in Settings → Blocked people, and read the rules in Settings → Community rules. You can also email the moderators at the address above.
Why wasn't my post published?
Before anything appears, an automatic filter checks it for personal attacks, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, links and personal details such as phone numbers. If it is stopped, nothing was published — try saying it another way. Disagreeing strongly is fine; attacking the person isn't.
What language does the AI answer in?
The language you write in. If you write your reason in Spanish, Socrates replies in Spanish, even if the App is set to English. When you haven't written enough for it to tell — for example, a first question with no reason yet — it uses the App's language. You can change the App's language in Settings → Language.
AI features aren't answering
AI features need an internet connection and have daily limits shown in the App. If a reply doesn't come, check your connection and try again in a moment. Everything else — the daily dilemma, answering and carving — works offline.
Questions people ask
Do I need to know philosophy?
No. Each dilemma is told as a short story in plain words, with three questions to help you think. The point is your own answer, not a correct one.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, email or password. The first time you carve an answer, the app creates an anonymous ID so your answer can be counted in the world's answers and so duels, the Agora and clubs know it's you. It isn't linked to your name, email or Apple ID.
Can I change my answer?
Yes, until 23:59. Your draft stays editable all day. Once you press and hold to carve it, it is set. If you don't carve it, it is carved as written at midnight.
What happens if I miss a day?
You can still answer yesterday's dilemma for the rest of today, and your streak holds. Or use a stoic rest day: everyone gets one a month, Premium gets two. If neither covers it, your stone cracks and the streak starts again. Gold, once earned, stays.
Do the thinkers really say these things?
Where the great minds stand on a dilemma comes from their written work. When you talk to a thinker, the replies are an AI interpretation of their published ideas, not quotations.
What leaves my phone?
When you carve, your position on the scale and your choice — never your written reason — so the world's answers can be counted. Text you send in a duel, post in the Agora, a club or a debate. The text an AI feature needs, when you use it. Your journal is also backed up to your own private iCloud. The privacy policy lists every detail.
Which language does the AI answer in?
The language you write in. If you haven't written enough for it to tell, it answers in the app's language.
Which languages?
English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, 한국어, Português, Русский and Українська.
How do I cancel a subscription?
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
