Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-05

Enamelog keeps your dental log on your phone. There is no account, and Pocketleaf does not receive your records, notes or clinic names. We do not sell data, and the app contains no advertising or analytics SDK.

1. What the app stores, and where

  • Treatment records: tooth number, type of work (filling, crown, implant, root canal, extraction, aligner), installation date or "unknown", clinic name, a note of up to 500 characters, and warranty years.
  • Visits: date, a note on what was done, and an optional cost written as free text.
  • Cleaning journal entries, streak and brush-replacement date.
  • Reminder settings, theme, language, and your subscription status with its trial date.

All of this is stored on the device in the app's own local storage (MMKV). It is not sent to a server operated by Pocketleaf.

2. What leaves the device

  • Dentist PDF (Pro). The PDF is generated on your device. It is shared only when you tap share, through the system share sheet, and the app you choose receives it.
  • Backup file (Pro). A JSON file is created on your device. It leaves the app only when you save or share it, for example to Files or iCloud Drive. Restoring reads a file you pick.
  • Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. The app uses the RevenueCat SDK to read your subscription status. RevenueCat receives an app user identifier generated by the SDK and purchase information. Your journal entries are not sent to RevenueCat. [проверить: list of data RevenueCat SDK collects, as in its documentation, and the matching App Store / Play data-safety answers]

3. Health information

Records about your teeth may be health information. Enamelog does not connect to Apple Health or Google Health Connect, and does not send health information to Pocketleaf or to any third party. Anything you export, back up or print is under your control.

4. Notifications

Reminders about visits, warranty end dates and the end of your trial are scheduled locally on your device. The app does not register for push notifications and does not use a notification server.

5. Tracking and advertising

Enamelog does not track you across other apps or websites and does not show ads. Its privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types. [проверить: App Privacy label in App Store Connect and Data safety form in Play Console match this section, including RevenueCat]

6. Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all data removes every record, visit and journal entry from the app after two confirmations. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage from the device. [проверить: whether iOS device backups and Android auto-backup (android:allowBackup is not set in app.json) may keep a copy of app storage] Backup files you saved elsewhere are yours to delete.

7. Children

Enamelog is intended for adults who manage their own dental history. It is not designed for children.
