Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Mintglass, provided by Pocketleaf. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Mintglass identifies coins from photos and gives an AI-generated estimate of value in US dollars, a verdict, and a short description. It is an information tool.

An estimate is not a certified grading, including grading by PCGS or NGC. It is not an appraisal, not a price guarantee, not an offer to buy or sell, and not financial advice.

A verdict (keep, show an appraiser, or probably worth little) is a suggestion. You decide what to do with your coins. For a coin you think is valuable, get a professional appraisal before you sell.

Identification and estimates can be wrong. We have not yet measured identification accuracy. Check the photo and the label before you rely on either. We do not guarantee that any coin will be identified or that any estimate is correct.

The free plan includes 3 identifications a month, with identification only. Paid plans include value estimates, verdicts, collection and batch mode, and up to 60 scans a month.

Limits reset each calendar month. [проверить: reset time zone] A scan is not counted when identification fails.

Paid plans are sold through Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and for the same period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policies.

You may only photograph coins you own or are allowed to photograph. You give us permission to process the photos you submit to identify the coin and to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

Do not misuse the service, try to bypass scan limits or rate limits, interfere with the service, or use it for an unlawful purpose.

The service depends on network and third-party providers and may be unavailable at times. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

The app, its design, and the content we provide are owned by Pocketleaf and protected by law. Coin records you create remain yours.

The app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pocketleaf is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Mintglass, including any decision to buy, sell or keep a coin. [проверить: liability cap and its wording for your jurisdiction]

These terms are between you and Pocketleaf, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app. Where you download the app from Apple App Store, Apple's standard end user license terms also apply. [проверить: whether a custom license is used]

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.
